2 Weeks Down

Hi Everybody. So much has happened since we last talked, I don't know where to begin. Last Thursday, I went with my Mommy to the doctors office. She didn't want to go alone so my memaw went with us, and then we went to Memaw's office and hung out for a while. It was really cool, I think I got the hang of office work down pat. Later that day, my mommy's old roommate Shannon and her husband Don came to see me. On Friday my Daddy left work early to take me to get my blood drawn. I didn't like that so much, but I didn't really cry...too bad that is. After that we met up with my Uncle Marcus and I got to go to Costco for the first time. I wasn't too impressed, I slept the whole time. On Saturday my Aunt Tina, Uncle Mike, Cousin Christian, and Cousin Alyssa came to see me. Christian and Alyssa stayed the night cause I'm just way too cute to leave. My Grandma and Ray also came over Saturday and my Grandma, Mommy, and Alyssa made tacos and enchiladas. I didn't get any but the sure looked and smelled good. I can't wait until I can eat real people food. Sunday was a pretty lazy day for the most part. I laid around and watched football with daddy for most of the day, but later on I got to go to my Memaw's for the first time. It was so exciting, I got to meet her dogs and Memaw and Shames watched me and Kacie while Mommy and Daddy went to the store. Turtle is Back

Hi everybody! I know it's been a couple of days since we last talked but I've been super busy. On Saturday I did a little bit of sun tanning before my Grandpa and Lisa came over and took me and my Mommy and Daddy out to Red Lobster. This was my first trip out, and Mommy was very nervous, but I did just fine. On Sunday my Memaw and Shames came over to spend a little time with me. After that I just hung out and watched football with my Daddy while my Mommy and Kacie went shopping for me. Monday, I got to hang out with Mommy all day again while Daddy went back to work, but I got to watch the Suns game with him Monday night. Well, after all that I'm exhausted, back to my Boppy for now, talk to you all real soon.

My First Friday

Hi everybody, well today was super busy. First, my mommy's friend Roberta came by to see me. Then my mommy took me outside in my stroller for the first time to get a little sun, a girl has to have a good tan, but we didn't stay long. After that my godmother Teresa came over and helped my mommy give me a bath. Later that night, my Auntie Monique, Eric, and Kaela brought us pizza and we watched the Suns game. It was such an exhausting day being passed around and having so many people hold me that I'm worn out.

First Doctor's Visit

Hi everyone, well lots has happened since we last talked. Last night I sat with my daddy and watched my first Suns game. It was cool, I couldn't make it through the whole game but I did sit and watch it for about 15 minutes. Then today, my Aunt Kim came over and took my mommy and me to my first doctor's visit. Don't hate me, but I've lost weight ladies and I eat like a horse. I'm down to 5lbs, 3oz but I'm eating almost 2oz at a sitting now. Also, my mommy's work family sent a beautiful cookie bouquet to us, hopefully my daddy and big sister don't eat them all. Other than that, all I really did today was hang out and get to know my binky. Well, gotta run see you all real soon

Alone with Mommy

Today my daddy had to go back to work so I got to have a girls day with mommy. We didn't do a whole lot, a lot of laying around and stretching. My cousin Quixote came by, but he didn't stay too long, he's a workaholic and had to get back to work. My mommy's friend Tanya came to see me and brought me a couple of rockin' outfits that I'll have to grow into. Other than that it was pretty quiet, but I did get a chance to spit up on daddy's shirt when he was trying to burp me after dinner. That's what he gets for not using a burp cloth. Well, I think that's it for now, gotta go, time for a diaper change

Going Home

Even though I was considered premature, I was healthy enough that the doctors let my mom and dad take me home already, but not before I had my first modeling session in the hospital. My dog Dozer was a nervous wreck when I got home, he was so worried about me he wore himself out. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be a handful, good thing I'm so loved. I did run into one problem when I got home and ladies please don't hate me for this but all of my clothes are too big. I promise I'll try to grow as fast as I can, I'm eating almost every two hours so I'm doing all I can

My First Full Day

My first full day was really exciting. I got to eat, sleep, poop, and meet lots of family and friends, including my big sister Kacie. I also got to meet my great-grandma Vicky, which was really cool because that meant there were 4 generations of women in my family in the same room. So many people came by to check on me that I can't remember them all, hopefully my mom and dad can because I'm not so good with names just yet, but there is something new every day. Well I'm tired now and hungry, so I'm gonna go but I'll talk to you all again real soon

Welcome Me

Hi everybody my name is Alexis Danielle, or as my parents call me Lexi. I was born 11/08/08 at 9:18 PM and I was a tiny thing. I only weighed 5 lbs, 8 oz, but I was kinda long, 19 1/2". I kinda surprised my mom and dad when I came, they weren't expecting me for another three weeks and were actually in birthing class learning about labor when I decided I had about enough sitting around in my mom's tummy. A little over nine hours after my mom and dad went to the hospital, I popped out. I was greeted by my mom and dad, my Memaw, my Aunt Tina, and the wonderful staff of Scottsdale Osborn. My Grandma Vicki was supposed to be in the room but I came out so fast she didn't make it back there in time. I knew I was loved from the very beginning because I had a whole waiting room full of people waiting to see me.
